We all have “Have to” reading during the school year. However, summer reading has a different purpose - entertainment. Yes, just reading a book because it is interesting to you - I know a novel idea..
So what are your fav summer reading picks? And of course, why? And of course, what might you recommend to others for a good read in the sunshine or on a rainy day?

Heroes can be found in most types of literature. The ancient Greeks had heroes such as Heracles. Comic book heroes often have super human traits and powers. The TV show, Heroes, also have super human powers. Other types of literature have heroes who accomplish a difficult task without such powers.
How would you define a hero?
There is an old saying, ” A picture is worth a 1000 words.” What do you think this means? How can a picture tell a story?
